Our Partners
At Footprint Safaris, we believe that the strongest journeys are built on strong relationships. We work closely with a wide network of trusted operators, lodges, National Parks, and service providers across Malawi, allowing us to deliver seamless, uninterrupted safari experiences from start to finish.
At the core of our on-the-ground operations is Central African Wilderness Safaris (CAWS), our primary operational partner in Malawi. Having worked extensively alongside their team, we value their deep local knowledge and their unwavering commitment to wildlife conservation, community engagement, and exceptional safari experiences. Their professionalism and shared values make them a natural extension of the Footprint Safaris ethos.
We partner closely with Kayak Africa, the long-standing owners and operators of Mumbo Island and Domwe Island within Lake Malawi National Park. Since 1994, they have been committed to the sustainable management and protection of these remarkable islands and the wider lake environment. Their low-impact camps and long-standing partnership with Malawi’s Department of National Parks and Wildlife reflect a genuine commitment to conservation and stewardship, helping protect Lake Malawi’s natural heritage for generations to come — a commitment that closely aligns with the values of Footprint Safaris.
African Footprints LLC is our American sister company and our bridge to the U.S. travel market. Based in Arizona, African Footprints represents and promotes Footprint Safaris to American travellers and travel advisors, while facilitating our U.S. trade partnerships. Through this close relationship, itineraries, payments, and client support can be confidently managed between the United States and Malawi, combining local expertise on the ground with trusted support in the American market.
